How to Take Care of Your Facial Skin After a Workout at the Gym
The gym offers a great opportunity to exercise your muscles and take care of your face as well, especially if your gym has a steam room.
After you finish your workout, go through the following steps:
- Step 1 -
Splash your face with water.
- Step 2 -
Put on toner, either with a cotton pad, or if you don’t have one handy, with your finger tips (like men put on aftershave).
- Step 3 -
Apply a facial mask, keeping the eye area clear, leave it on for 15 minutes (or as indicated in the instructions) and then rinse off with warm water.
If you have oily skin, use a clay mask, and if you have dry, normal or sensitive skin, use a hydrating mask.
For combination skin, apply the clay mask to the oily parts of your face and the hydrating mask elsewhere.
